Internships
Triangle FoundationAs an intern, you will be an integral part of Michigan’s largest, most dynamic LGBT advocacy organization. You won’t just be getting coffee or doing filing – Triangle Foundation interns work with the media, lobby elected officials, provide services for victims of hate, research the opposition, and other essential tasks to making a better Michigan. While you help our communities, you’ll be learning real-world tasks and making connections with individuals around the state and country that will help you in your future career. In addition, our interns participate in staff meetings where their voices are heard and their opinions valued. The educational institution sponsoring the student will be responsible for setting the number of credits for the internship and whether or not the intern may receive monetary compensation for their work. Each intern will have a supervisor who will be responsible for providing evaluations for each intern and project. Due to the sensitive nature of much of our work, interns may be required to sign a confidentiality agreement. |
